 This challenge has been designed to perform research and development  projects aimed at countering misinformation, disinformation, and  associated negative consequences. The initial problems the BIONIC team  is trying to solve revolve around the identification and impact of  adversarial malign influence (which includes misinformation/  disinformation methods) in both societal and international trade  settings.
